Isle of Wight Police confirm a body found in woodland near Werrar Farm, Northwood, on Saturday, July 18th, was that of Jason Michael Fitzpatrick.
Mr Fitzpatrick, aged 40, of Atherley Road, Shanklin, was reported missing in May and formally identified yesterday (Thursday, July 23, 2009) through dental records.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, next-of-kin have been informed and Police are preparing a file for the Isle of Wight Coroner.
