Wight Dogs Blog ‘Unite On The Wight’

Having first noticed Wight Dogs on Twitter as they’re following Island Pulse, it is only fair they get a plug from the Web Ferret.

The Wight Dogs main Blog  is dedicated to Isle of Wight dog owners and gives assistance to those that want to get organised in securing a fair deal on the many issues that affect dogs and their owners across the Wight.

There are a great many dog owners on the Island of which the  Wight Dogs website and forum has a flourishing membership which says: “Encouraging Dog Owners from the Wight to Unite”

Wight Dogs is a place for discussing all doggie related issues and topics and it’s comforting to see a disclaimer: as stated on the Wight Dogs Forum opening page

“Please bear in mind that this site is a family friendly zone and consequently moderate language is a requirement.

The views expressed here are the personal opinions of individuals and do not necessarily reflect the views held by wightdogs.com”

A small amount of leg work from the Web Ferret and I came across: Wight Dogs on Flickr here: and specific forum   wightdogs doggie photos group pool

Even more legwork and I came across another user of the same Flickr social networking website in what appears to have the same issues here: The Good Fairy who has created a specific forum to highlight   Isle of Wight Tourism – dog bins  Catch up with Wight Dogs on Twitter.

Many similarities with the Wight Dogs Blog/Website here: www.wightdogs.com perhaps they should get together or are they one in the same, who knows?

As I always disclaim to the vagaries of social networking websites and user generated content, it’s up to the individual internet viewer to make up their own mind on the validity of anything they find and read on the big wide web.
