Island Pulse: West Wight Wind Farm Plans Rejected.

Protesters www.thwart.info mounted a campaign claiming the wind farm would have a negative visual impact on the island and damage its tourism economy.

The council said it believed in renewable energy, but the wind farm was “the wrong thing in the wrong place”.

The company behind the £14m project Your Energy www.your-energy.co.uk is now considering an appeal.
