Next Wednesday (30th April) the Green Gym, and young people from St Georges School, together with representatives of West Wight Churches will plant, prune and tidy the gardens around West Wight Sports Centre. Up to 40 people are expected to undertake the jobs from 10.00 - 1.00 pm.

On Thursday (24th April), young people from West Wight Youth Club will plant the area outside their entrance.

Children have been busy painting pebbles and making a spectacularly colourful entrance to the sports centre.

Entries are still being accepted for the poster competition where children are asked to design a poster which asks people to respect their local environment. Closing date is May 5th.
