Weekend Weather On Wight

Isle of Wight rays of summer sun could be fleeting this weekend, as the rain arrives just in time for the opening of Queen Victoria’s Private Beach at Osborne and the start of the Olympics.

Today:  Showery rain with a risk of thunder across London and South East region. Becoming drier in the west by mid-afternoon, with the rain clearing the rest of the region by the evening. Feeling warm, though cooler than recently, with generally light winds. Maximum Temperature 25 °C.

Tonight: Dry with variable cloud and some bright spells. Cloud thickening from around midnight especially in the east. Feeling mild with light winds. Minimum Temperature 13 °C.

Saturday: A predominantly dry day with sunny spells and variable cloud. Feeling cooler than recently, however it will still be warm in sunny spells with a gentle westerly breeze. Maximum Temperature 22 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Sunshine and showers Sunday, perhaps heavy later with fresher winds. Sunshine and a few lighter showers Monday. Sunny intervals and some outbreaks of rain possible Tuesday. Feeling cooler than recently.
