Oct 1st, 2009 | By Carolyn Keene | Isle of Wight News From The Island PulseOver 9,500 registered walkers and up to 2,000 parents and supporters struggled against the elements for this year’s Walk the Wight. And just over £283,000 in sponsorship, was received by September, which is amazing in the current climate.
The date for next years event is Sunday 16th May 2010 and application forms will be sent out near the end of this year.
