The Isle of Wight Bestival Event is up for 4 Awards at the 2006 UK Festival Awards.

We are chuffed to bits that Bestival has been short-listed in the following 4 categories of the 2006 UK Festival Awards:

1. Best Medium-To-Large Festival
2. Party People Award For Dance Music
3. Innovation Award:For the new ‘Breast-ival’ area where mothers could breastfeed and change nappies in peace.
4. Memorable Moment: Scissor Sisters performing at Bestival dressed as clowns, despite a ‘clown ban’ for the fancy dress party

Last year Bestival 2005 won 2 awards, ‘Best Medium-Sized Festival’and ‘Most Innovative Festival’, because you lovely people voted for us.  Well we’d be over the moon if you voted for us this year too!
