Two Men Charged After Ventnor Burglaries

Isle of Wight Police have charged two men after burglaries reported at the ‘Beach Hut Diner’ and ‘Ventnor Bay Café’ on the Esplanade, Ventnor,  in October 2009.

Paul Philip CARTER, aged 27, of Pound Lane, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, and Robert John SCOTT, aged 36, of West Street, Wroxall, Isle of Wight were both charged with two counts of burglary.

Both men were bailed by the police to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Friday, November 13, 2009.

The charges follow an investigation by Targeted Patrol Team (TPT) and Scenes of Crime officers (SOCO), CID, and Intelligence Unit staff on the Isle of Wight.
