Tree-o-caching at Northwood Park.  Island Pulse: An event to mark National Tree Week to find and learn about historic trees within the park and landscape of Northwood Park is taking place on Saturday 1st December at 11:00am.

An event to mark National Tree Week to find and learn about historic trees within the park and landscape of Northwood Park in Cowes is taking place on Saturday 1st December at 11:00am.

Using hand-held Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers similar to the technology used in satellite navigation devices now common in vehicles, ‘geocachers’ can explore Northwood Park and discover its nature and heritage by following trails to hidden treasure, or ‘caches’.

This event is being run by Isle of Wight Geocaching in conjunction with the Isle of Wight Histree Trail.
