Summer Rose Fayre
Jun 27th, 2009 | By Leigh Jackman | Isle of Wight News From The Island Pulse
Chale C.E. Primary School is hosting a Rose Fayre today (Saturday 27th of June) at 2.00-5.00pm. There will be lots of fun and games, music on the lawn, make and do’s, plant stalls and a grand auction, including annual competition of Roses and Sweetpeas, paintings and photographs.
There will be three bands supplying music including Kerouac, who played the Isle of Wight Festival this year and lots of children’s games and activities. We have really gone all out this year to make it a great traditional fun day out, we have a fire service bringing a fire engine, bouncy castles, the chance to learn circus skills and pig racing.
It should be a cracking day, this might be our last chance if the council closes the school and we really want to thank the whole Island for the support they showed when we took our petition to London.
The Rose fayre is on from 2-5pm
