Successful Year For Cowes Yacht Haven

Cowes Yacht Haven has celebrated another bumper year for the marina and has reported an increase in visitors.

The number of visiting boats booking berths in the marina has increased by six per cent from 2008 to 2009 and the number of boats visiting from Holland, Germany and France is up 10 per cent.

Managing Director, Steve Cole, said:

“We are very pleased with our visitor figures this year. Not only is it great for us as a business but it also means other companies in Cowes benefit from visiting trade. The pound has been in general very weak this year in comparison to the Euro, which is why we have seen increased numbers from Holland, Germany and France. We are quietly confident that this will continue into 2010 and hope that we will see even more new faces next year.”
