At anchor and finishing for the day, the vessel had complete engine failure and the auxiliary engine would not start. On-board ‘Trei Bien’ were, two adults and two children, who had been fishing, they called Coastguard for assistance.
SSILB arrived on scene, to find the vessel with all on-board well, it was great to see the children in good quality life jackets, all on-board were very glad to see the Lifeboat and her crew.
SSILB took the vessel in tow after releasing their anchor and towed it to Bembridge harbour, where the Bembridge Coastguard team met and directed SSILB to a mooring for the casualty vessel.
