Photographers from the Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group have created a stunning new calendar for 2013 and they hope their charitable work will make the perfect Christmas gift.
Showcasing their photographic talents, the calendar contains a series of twelve stunning landscapes featuring scenic water from across the Island. It has been put together to support and raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK – Defeating Dementia www.alzheimersresearchuk.org
The IWDIG Calendar 2013 features a good mix of photographic styles.
The photography group established in 2004 is made up of local amateur photographers of various experience. Some have been snapping for years while others have only recently taken up the hobby.
Last year the IWDIG calendar sold out within a day. This year we only have a few left for sale, but are confident they will be gone by Christmas.” says IWDIG Founder Gary Early.
“Regular weekly meetings at Dimbola, consist of a mixture of practical tutorials and hands on advice. We also have a packed schedule of external outings, photo walks and tutor led workshops. It is due to these activities that our group of photographers are able to produce such good images for their annual calendar.
