The Ventnor Botanic Garden Friends’ Society have arranged for David Howard, the Head Gardener at Highgrove to give an illustrated talk at the Riverside Centre in Newport tonight, May 25th at 7.30 p.m.
The talk will give an insight into this prestigious garden, which has been developed over the last 25 years using an organic ethos. David Howard oversees the production of willow for basket making and garden use, and looks after the National Plant Collections of beech and giant-leaved hostas.
