Road Rage Witness Appeal

Isle of Wight Police are seeking a witness to a report of a road rage involving two motorists on the outskirts of Carisbrooke.

It’s alleged two men were seen fighting at the lower end of Whitcombe Road near the junction with Whitepit Lane at around 7.30am on Monday, June 25, 2012.

A 38-year-old man from the Isle of Wight received injuries, which were not life-threatening. The other man was described as white and aged in his 60s.

The cars involved were a silver Ford Mondeo and a gold Volvo estate.

Police received a 999 call from a woman who reported the fight.
