Police Seek Witnesses To Fatal Accident.
Jan 17th, 2008 | By Island Pulse | Isle of Wight News From The Island PulseIsle of Wight police are appealing for witness after a motorcyclist died this morning in an incident involving a Southern Vectis bus in Ryde.
The bus, carrying three passengers plus the driver, was turning right at the junction of Great Preston Road and High Park Road when it collided with the motorcycle at approx 8.15am.
The motorcyclist, *has been named as Sven Bjorn Johansson aged 33 from St Helens, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are seeking the three people who were thought to be on the bus, two Ryde High schoolgirls and one man in his 50s, to get in touch.
Anyone who saw the incident should contact police on 0845 045 45 45 quoting Operation Talbot.
*News: Updated 22nd January 2008: Sven Bjorn Johansson 33 years old and from St Helens. A superyacht designer who founded his company in 2001. He is survived by his parents, wife, two children and a brother and sister.
