Police Investigate Damage To Cars In Ventnor

Isle of Wight Police are appealing for information after reports of criminal damage in Ventnor.

Officers are investigating damage to six cars parked in several areas of the town sometime overnight between Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6.

Four of the vehicles were in a car park for residents of Clyde House in Madeira Road, Ventnor. A white Porsche Carrera, blue Kia Cee’d, white Ford Fiesta, and yellow Fiat Panda all had tyres punctured.

A white Ford Transit van parked on St. Catherine’s Street near Madeira Road also had tyres punctured.

A red Nissan Almera, which was in a car park off Dudley Road, had several windows smashed at approximately 3.00am on Friday, November 6.

Officers are carrying out house-to-house and forensic enquiries in the area.
