Isle of Wight Football supporters club:  Vectis-Spurs are giving football enthusiasts the chance to meet 2 legends of English football as well as Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Ossie Ardiles & Micky Hazard will be visiting the Riverside Centre in April, to answer questions, pose for photographs and sign autographs.

“Both Ossie (Osvaldo) and Micky are good friends to this day following their time at Tottenham together, which included both of them being members of the 1984 UEFA Cup team that beat Anderlecht in a penalty shoot out to win the trophy.”

The evening will be compared by Paul Belverstone, sports reporter on Meridian TV and ardent Tottenham fan, he will conduct a small interview with our guests and then it will be your turn to ask the questions to our guests.

There will also be a Vectis Spurs prize raffle with many, many items of signed Spurs memorabilia.

“We would like very much to see you all there and to make Ossie and Micky feel very welcome to our beautiful island and to let them experience the very warm welcome that only the Isle of Wight Tottenham supporters can give. Entry is via ticket only (£35 adults and £25 Juniors Under 16) the price includes a 2 course hot meal served to the table. Thursday 15th April 2010 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Vectis Spurs was formed in August 1993 and is officially registered as an affiliated branch of Tottenham Hotspur FC’s membership scheme. The Club enjoys a healthy membership with ongoing interest from various sources. It was set up, initially, to be a travel club for Island residents but now includes members from slightly further afield, particularly the south of Hampshire.
