Briddlesford Lodge Farm are opening their gates to the public for Open Farm Sunday 2012. This will be the 7th Open Farm Sunday and over 450 farms across the country are expected to open.
The Isle of Wight Open Farm Sunday, offers visitors a great day out, and an opportunity to meet the farmers who grow their food and care for the countryside.
On Sunday 17th June, farm tours in groups of 15 people with a family member, followed by tea and cakes in the farm’s Bluebells cafe and a chance to shop in the Farm Shop. See the prize winning dairy Guernsey herd, with hiefers and calves. Also veal calves, barns, fields. Please wear appropriate clothing, especially footwear – farms are muddy places.
