A man in a wheelchair has died following a collision with a car on the Isle of Wight.
The incident happened along an unlit stretch of road outside the Chilli Farm in Godshill.
The man sustained fatal injuries in the collision, which happened just before 10.40pm, last night (Saturday), and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for seven and a half hours by the Roads Policing Unit and buses were diverted, while police carried out investigations.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact the 101 number quoting Operation Bellino.
