Man Charged With Wootton Robbery

A man was charged by police on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 after an armed robbery at a Spar shop, High Street, Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight on Friday, January 22, 2010.
Dean James England, aged 28, of Duke Street, London, is charged with robbery and possessing a knife.
He was remanded in custody to appear before the courts on the Isle of Wight today (Wednesday, January 27, 2010).
The charges follow an investigation by detectives from Isle of Wight CID.
