Man Charged With Robbery Of Island Jewellers
Jul 10th, 2009 | By Duncan Smith | Isle of Wight News From The Island PulseA 21-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the robbery at Benzie yachting jewellers on the Isle of Wight on Friday, July 3rd.
Oliver John Mazirel, of Ivydore Avenue, Worthing, West Sussex, was charged by detectives this evening (July 9) with robbery and possessing an imitation firearm.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this morning (July 10).
A woman, aged 23, of Worthing, West Sussex who was arrested at the same time was released on police bail until September pending further enquiries.
