Last week, whilst on a regular voyage in cyberspace, researching a revolt over illegal car parking and CCTV.  I felt a desire to peek outside Chez Web Ferret and take in the sea air on Ventnor Esplanade and look what I spied with my candid eye.

The raising of the new blue flag with IW Cllrs in abundance, didn’t stop a parking attendant from noting and hopefully booking this flagrant abuse of the highway.

No excuse, the sign was clearly visible, of course I didn’t stay around to see if the air turned blue along with the flag.

Shaken not stirred, I returned home, glanced over my intended research: the public outcry at a mainland council, plagued with complaints in their use of a covert Smart car loaded with CCTV to catch parking offenders.

I pondered could too much knowledge be a dangerous thing or would I be preaching to the converted, or just to those that never intend to learn. 

So being a good citizen journalist, I uploaded the picture from my camera and penned this short missive.
