20th February-12th April 2009: Larry Ellis: 40 Years Of British Comedy: Concentrating on the golden days of British Comedy with a fantastic photographic exhibition. Allo, Allo, at the heart of this show are images from Carry On Films and a range of contemporary comedians, including Victoria Wood and Dawn French.
Daily Express showbiz photographer Larry Ellis, has photographed every top British comedian for the last forty years, with many funny men even testing their new jokes on Larry as he frames them in his camera viewfinder. Now fifty of Larry’s favourite pictures of the men and women who have made us laugh, will be on show at Dimbola Lodge from 20th February to 12 April 2009.
