A video (watch below) has been launched by Ofcom, setting out steps consumers can take and things they should look out for when shopping online this Christmas.
The video (below) forms part of Ofcom’s support for Get Safe Online week (16th-20th November), an annual event to raise awareness of internet safety issues. Consumers never fear, online shopping is safe and secure so long as you take a few simple steps first.

The internet is great. People like to email, chat and have fun online. We also use it to buy and sell things, do our taxes or bank online. The problem is online criminals.
