When West Wight twin swimming instructor, Gay Grieve, checked her enrollment lists for this terms swimming lessons she discovered she had no less than 5 sets of twins in her swimming groups!
Gay has been teaching swimming at West Wight Sports Centre for 20 years – she said “I ocasionally get to teach twins, but often they are of a different ability so are split up into different groups. I’ve never known so many twins learning to swim all at the same time and for them to all be in my groups is quite incredible!”
The children had all enrolled seperately and by coincidence had all been allocated to Gay’s classes . The little twins are:
Lilly and Poppy Dutton, Isobel and Rebecca Green, Ashley and Lewis Cooper, Charlotte and Lillian Stafford, Max and Moses Cowley.
