Whilst we are looking forward to Kevin Mitchell’s Apollo theatre production of Fiddler on the Roof on the 2nd July, we also note Kevin meets John Hannam of Isle of Wight Radio on Sunday.

Island Amateur theatre player, producer, charity campaigner and successful photographer, Kevin Mitchell, was recently the subject of an article by John Hannam in the Weekend Section of the Isle of Wight County Press.

Whilst Kevin, has major health problems, instead of feeling sorry for himself, he is excitedly preparing to direct the Apollo Players production of Fiddler on the Roof, of which will be his first major production on the Island. 

Treading the boards means Kevin’s never bored and never wishing to play the sympathy card; he leads an exceptionally busy life and refuses to let the ill health which has dogged him cramp his style.

Kevin, who also took up photography following early retirement, won the Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year Award in its inaugural year and last year came second, with his picture of Chiquita from the Isle of Wight Zoo.

Isle of Wight Radio will broadcast the interview of all round good egg, Kevin Mitchell Meets John Hannam on Sunday 27th April.
