Police Investigate Reports Of Suspicious Dog Walker.
Jun 28th, 2008 | By John Coles | In: Community, Islandwide, Isle of Wight, NewsPolice on the Isle of Wight are investigating allegations of a man acting suspiciously after he approached women walking alone in remote areas of the Island.
Officers have received two separate complaints during the past month about the behaviour of a dog walker on Mottistone Down, and in Brighstone Forest.
In both cases, the women involved have raised concerns with police about indecent conversations started by an elderly man who offered to walk with them.
Police are asking anyone with information, or who has been approached by an elderly man in a similar situation in other areas of the Island, to contact them.
