Police Appeal for Owners of Stolen Bicycles.

Police on the Isle of Wight have recovered six children’s bicycles and a micro scooter which are believed to have been stolen in the early hours of Thursday, April 5th, 2007.

Officers recovered the bikes after they were found in Albany Road and surrounding roads in Newport this morning.  It is believed they had been taken from addresses in Albany Road, Partridge Road and Heytesbury Road in Newport.

The bikes are now being held at Newport police station.  Anyone living in those roads who has discovered that their bicycle is missing is asked to contact PC Daniel Renshaw at Newport police station on 0845 045 45 45.
