Isle of Wight LINk will introduce Question Time at their next Stewardship Group public meeting at All Saints Church Hall, Queens Road, Ryde on Thursday, 25th November between 6 and 8pm.
This meeting will give Islanders the chance to present their questions to representatives from the NHS Isle of Wight, Isle of Wight Council on the proposed changes for our health and social care services following the recent Government Spending Review.
In addition, the public will be given the opportunity to share their ideas and opinions on what they want from their local pharmacy as part of the NHS Isle of Wight public consultation, Pharmacy Needs Assessment currently ongoing until the 6th December, 2010. There will also be a representative from the Pharmacy department, NHS Isle of Wight at this meeting to listen to concerns about matters concerning local pharmacy needs.
The Stewardship Group represents Isle of Wight LINk participants and Isle of Wight residents. One of the primary roles of the Isle of Wight LINk is to help develop and build better health and social care on the Isle of Wight through listening to individuals and groups and enabling everyone to have their say on how best to use resources to help improve services. The Stewardship Group intend to set up further public meetings across the Island to ensure that they visit as many different parts of the Island as possible in the coming months.
