Christmas is a very special time of year, yet it can also be very difficult because a loved one may no longer be with us. Remember someone special at Christmas time 2008, by attending one of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice Lights of Love Services on the Isle of Wight.
In remembrance of that special someone Lights of Love Services and Illuminated Parades are being held across the Island between 3rd – 22nd December.
Mon 3rd Dec Brighstone St Marys Church to include the switching on of the lights as part of the Christmas Tree Festival 7pm
Fri 5th Dec Totland Lantern Parade Starts from Colwell Common 6pm
Fri 5th Dec Newport The Hospice’s main service at St Thomas Church Newport *Lights Tour after service 7pm
Fri 5th Dec Freshwater St Agnes Church 7pm
Fri 5th Dec Seaview St Peters Church to include the switching on of the lights in the garden and mulled wine and mince pies. 7pm
Thurs 11th Dec Wootton The Cedars Pub *Lights Tour after service 6.30pm
Thurs 11th Dec Arreton The White Lion Arreton 6pm
Fri 12th Dec Whippingham Crematorium 7pm
Sat 13th Dec Lake The Old Manor House, carols around the Tree with Shanklin Town Brass Band 12noon
Sat 13th Dec Yarmouth In the Square with the Slipshod Singers, the Salvation Army and local school children *Lights tour after service 6pm

Sun 14th Dec Brading St Mary’s Church, Brading 5.30pm
