The Island Highland Gathering on Sunday 19th August will see Robin Hill awash with tartan as top Scottish Pipe and Drum Bands compete against each other, alongside a feast of Caledonian entertainment.
There will be performances of traditional Scottish Dancing, live bands and music across 2 stages and 2 arenas, and a rousing headline performance from the Island’s very own Wight Hot Pipes!
The crowds favorite The Island Highland Triathlon will see teams take on Highland Games favorites including Tossing the Caber and Haggis Hurling! A professional demonstration kitchen will be dishing up a taster menu of dishes from beyond Hadrian’s Wall, and there’s Whiskey Tasting to wash it down with! If you’ve still got breath left after all that lot there’s have-a-go bagpiping sessions!
