** Bestival Fancy Dress Theme to be announced via a Rob da Bank Exclusive Poemcast! **
Â
Â
Rob da Bank will announce this year’s Bestival fancy-dress theme via the innovative new medium of the Poemcast! Cleverly disguised as a Podcast and free to stream or download from iTunes or Sunday Best Podcast from this Monday 14th May.
Â
Here’s a snippet to get you warmed up:
One Night On The Isle Of Wight
Â
I thought I saw a pirate flag
A skull and crossbones raggedy rag
Yonder past the sticky out Needles
No look to starboard and then down the middle
Â
My look point was the best in town
Above ye olde Lobster and Crown
Kings and Queens mostly dined here
With the odd rapscallion sipping his beer
So that’s just a taster, the festival’s Saturday inaugural fancy dress parade looks to have a swashbuckling theme this year as revellers wait in anticipation of what they should wear for the full weekend.Â
To find out what the rest of it entails you will need to listen to the Poemcast on Monday via iTunes or Sunday Best Podcast . The full poem will be available on Bestival Net later on in the week.
