The Isle of Wight Refuse Collection and Recycling will change for 3 weeks during Christmas and New Year 2007/2008.  Below you will find a list of all the relevant changes with details of where to deposit your redundant Christmas Tree after the festive season,  as supplied via IW Council Website .

Kerbside Recycling Service.
Week A collections are shown above in bold.
Please do not worry if your day of collection has moved into the next week. Just place your box kerbside by 7am on the revised collection day.

Christmas Tree Recycling.
From Saturday 29th December to Sunday 13th January there will be skips at: Brighstone Village Car Park: Ventnor Botanic Gardens Car Park: Lake Morrisons Car Park: Tesco (Ryde) Car Park: Cowes St Mary’s Rd Car Park: East Cowes Esplanade Car Park, Christmas Trees can also be placed with garden waste at Civic Amenity Sites.

The main Civic Amenity Site at Lynnbottom will only be closed on Christmas Day.: The weekend sites at Afton and Forest Road will be open as normal.
