Ryde Boxing Day Dip in aid of the Barely Born Appeal, will see swimmers end a challenge started earlier in the year, with a flourish by taking to the Solent at Appley Beach in Ryde.  Born To Swim takes place, at Puckpool Park End, opposite the Cafe at 10.00 am.

For those who want to burn off their Christmas lunch, the Ventnor Boxing Day swim is as always very popular and crowds gathered to watch swimmers, many in fancy dress, throw themselves into the sea at Ventnor, Shanklin and Ryde in aid of their respective charities.

The daredevil dippers are becoming very popular especially on YouTube, see if you can spot yourself in the movies, watch the videos here…
