On Saturday (25th August) Earl Mountbatten Hospice fundraisers took to the streets on the Isle of Wight and rode the World’s Biggest Bicycle, the event was arranged by Sue Birch and helped along by IW Hospice Staff who all hoped to raise lots of money for the Hospice.

IW Hospice Fundraisers World's Biggest Bike: Island Pulse Intro:

Sue Birch (pictured left) would like to thank everyone for their kind efforts and donations. Sue said:

I would like to thank everyone sincerely for giving up their time on a Bank Holiday to support this event, and also for getting sponsorship.

Island Pulse reported on the World’s Biggest Bicycle Ride on the Isle of Wight and received this email from Sue:

“Well how can I put it…no words can really convey what a great job you have done covering the World’s Biggest Bicycle. Thank you, thank you, thank you…your coverage is superb.

I have sent many emails, and all over the world too, to friends…some, who in turn have promised to send me donations.

Thanks again…I cannot stop playing the video…its great!! I was surprised how much I had missed…so it was great being able to fill in the blanks.

Kind regards….and hopefully we shall be able to repeat the performance sometime…I have got the bug now!!”
