Island Tribute To Brenda Lawson

Her passing took place on the day of Ventnor Carnival of which she strived to help for many years. The start of the Carnival was marked with a special tribute by the people of Ventnor.
Isle of Wight Council Chairman, Councillor Arthur Taylor said
“My council colleagues and I are saddened by the news of the death of Brenda Lawson. Brenda was a dedicated servant to her local community and indeed the Island during her time with Isle of Wight Council, and more recently in her role on Ventnor Town Council.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time”.
