Young people on the Isle of Wight, who are learning with local training providers, are being offered rewards to encourage their friends to sign up for work based learning programmes.

Entry To Employment (e2e) scheme, is a A Government initiative, set up by The Association of Learning Providers for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (ALPHI) to encourage more young people aged between 16-18 yrs to opt for work-based learning.

Young people can earn rewards up to the value of £200 through e2e scheme.  For each friend introduced, the learner receives £50 towards items such as travel passes, interview clothes or driving lessons, which will help them progress on to work or further study.
