Island Man Charged With Fraud

An investigation by Hampshire Constabulary’s Isle of Wight Targeted Patrol Teams (TPT) and Isle of Wight Volume Crime Resolution Unit (VCRU) led to the charging of a man for fraud offences this afternoon (Tuesday, July 13, 2010).

Howard Roy Wolsey, aged 34, of Warrior Avenue, Cowes, Isle of Wight was charged with four counts of fraud by false representation under the Fraud Act 2006.

He was bailed to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
