SP a division of GURIT, based on the Isle of Wight, who offer a range of composite solutions specifically tailored to wind energy, transportation, marine, sport and engineering industry, has recently secured a contract with boat-builder Seaway. Â
SP will supply engineering services and composite materials for Seaway’s new Shipman 72 and 80 sailing yachts. This new breed of super-sized production sailboats will follow in the footsteps of the Shipman 50 and Shipman 63, each model having already won accolades including European Boat of the Year 2004 and European Yacht of the Year 2006.
