Island Community Invited To Cabinet Meeting

As part of IW Council moves to involve local communities in the democratic process, the forthcoming meeting of the cabinet will be held at St Peter’s Hall, Seaview.

Among agenda items for the Tuesday October 21st meeting is a paper looking at a major new initiatives to deliver social care arrangements on the Island.

The meeting will also discuss a strategy though which it will in the coming years support children and young people with special educational needs or learning difficulties and disabilities.

Also included on the agenda is a report setting out how the council will manage its performance across all areas in order to improve the delivery of services to residents and visitors.

The cabinet meeting starts at 6pm. Members of the public are invited to ask questions although in order to guarantee a full reply at the meeting, these should be delivered in writing or electronic mail to Committee Services at County Hall by 6pm this Friday (Oct 17th).
