One exhibition not to miss, the Illustration Exhibition on now until Monday 14th January at the Quay Arts. A showcase of competition entries, to design and create an illustration inspired by a chapter from Lynne Truss’s fabulous Isle of Wight book ‘Tennyson’s Gift’
The winner was Claire Marie Sells, whose winning piece of artwork can be seen along with a boastful variety of styles and mediums in entries from across Britain.
Lynne Truss was overwhelmed with the response to the competition and took great pleasure in presenting the winner, Claire Marie Sells, with her art vouchers during a presentation of Tennyson’s Gift in the Anthony Mingella Theatre last Friday.
Quay Arts also hopes to support Claire in the development of her career as an illustrator.
