Hospice Opens New Bembridge Shop

This Friday, the Earl Mountbatten Hospice will open the doors of a brand new Isle of Wight charity shop in Bembridge.

These new premises give the Hospice a fantastic chance to become part of the vibrant Bembridge community, an opportunity both our staff and volunteers are relishing.

Everyone is invited to the Grand Opening Party on Friday, when the doors will be officially opened by former Welsh Rugby Union International, and now local to the area, Cliff Morgan. Cliff will be joined by Anne Springman, who has long been a passionate supporter of the Hospice. The pair will be cutting the ribbon at midday, and guests will then have the first chance to browse and take in the new shop.

The Hospice hopes that with the addition of the Bembridge premises, and more exciting developments coming soon, we can give our valued and loyal customers more choice and a better shopping experience.

Our Bembridge shop, at 5 Lane End Court, will be open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and will stock a range of good quality items, including men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, homeware, books, toys, small items of furniture and good quality bric-a-brac.
