Having impressed fans all over the UK with their extensive folk rock repertoire and their on-stage banter, The Gathering-Legends Of Rock, now arrive to wow the Isle of Wight.  The Gathering are a group of musicians drawn from some of the most influential folk rock outfits of all time.

Ventnor plays host on Friday (28th November) to the brightest and finest musicians from the best Folk bands of the past 30 years or so coming together on stage at the Winter Gardens to celebrate their shared heritage of songs and performances!

The Gathering - The Legends of Folk Rock comprise Ray Jackson of Lindisfarne along with bassist Rick Kemp of Steeleye Span, drummer Clive Bunker, guitarist Jerry Donahue and singer and guitarist Doug Morter. The ensemble will play songs from the band members’ collective back catalogue and are hoping to release an album of songs being performed on tour early next year.
