Free Networking for Isle of Wight Small Business

Aug 26th, 2009 | By Julie Ratcliffe | Isle of Wight News From The Island Pulse

The Isle of Wight Branch of The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is holding a free open networking evening at Bay House Hotel, Shanklin on Tuesday 22nd September, starting at 6.30pm.

The event is open to all businesses, whether FSB members or not, and will be an opportunity for networking. Additionally, FSB branch officers will be on hand to discuss any local or small business issues that people wish to raise.

Caryn March, Chair of the Isle of Wight Branch, said:

“Networking is an important tool for small businesses and this is the third such event we have organised this year. We have been very pleased with the response. The format is informal and in addition to networking the evening provides an opportunity for small businesses owners to talk about their concerns and find out about the FSB and how it works on their behalf.”

Anyone interested in attending should contact Lorna Wills on 01425 280821 or by email: lorna.wills@fsb.org.uk. Details of FSB events in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight can be found on the website at www.fsb.org.uk/wessex
