Free Business Networking Event

Nov 20th, 2009 | By Julie Ratcliffe | Isle of Wight News From The Island Pulse

An informal networking evening has been organised by The Isle of Wight Branch of The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).  The event will take place at The Bargeman’s Rest, Little London Quay, Newport on Tuesday 8th December, starting at 6.30pm.

The event is open to all businesses and is free of charge. FSB branch officers will be available to discuss any local or small business issues that people wish to raise.

Caryn March, Chair of the Isle of Wight Branch, said:

“This is the last of our networking events for 2009. These evenings are simply designed for informality and to provide members with the opportunity to meet other branch members and raise any issues or problems that they may have. The evenings are also very good for networking and allow for members to come along and meet other people in similar situations to themselves.”

The event is open to all small business owners in addition to the 950 members of The Isle of Wight Branch. Anyone interested in attending should contact Lorna Wills on 01425 280821 or by email: lorna.wills@fsb.org.uk
