First ‘Go Yellow Day’ A Massive Success

The Isle of Wight Hospice reports the recent Go Yellow Day’ was a Massive Success!

For those who took part in the first ever “Hospice Go Yellow Day” know, it was a riot of colour, fun, crazy ideas and, most of all, fundraising for an excellent cause. 

People dressed as anything from Bananas to Gorillas’, to people in baths of custard, downing pints of jelly, climbing walls, giving away ice-creams and covering every surface in different shades of yellow from Amber, through Saffron and firmly into Golden Yellow territory, everyone pitched in and had an excellent time.

With over 90 businesses and schools taking part across the Island, a bit of much needed sunshine was brought to a damp October day.  A massive four pages of photos’ recognising the Island Going Yellow that can be found here… www.iwhospice.org
