Festival Fans Invade Isle of Wight.
Jun 13th, 2008 | By Web Ferret | In: Community, Isle of Wight Festival, TravelWhile more than 50,000 music fans are arriving on the Isle of Wight, the rich and famous ‘others’ such as the Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop and former F1 racing boss Eddie Jordan are intending to by pass the normal mode of solent crossing and arrive in style.
Reports are:
The Sex Pistols have ordered private helicopters to take them to the Isle of Wight Festival.
Eddie Jordan & The Robbers will arrive at the Festival aboard a multi-million-pound Sunseeker yacht full of playboy racing drivers and glamorous girls.
And ˜Lust For Life” singer Iggy Pop is reported as travelling to the festival via speedboat.
