Fastnet 30th Anniversary

A memorial Service is to be held on the Isle of Wight to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 1979 Fastnet Race. The service will be held during Cowes Week on Wednesday, 5th August 2009: 5.30pm, at Holy Trinity Church, Cowes.
All sailors, family and friends are welcome and it is anticipated that this event will attract a number of people. The RORC members’ cocktail party on the Royal Yacht Squadron lawn follows the Service at 6.30pm.
