There will also be a display of life-size marine creatures including whales and dolphins while –weather and operational requirements permitting — Solent Coastguard and the RNLI will stage a rescue display.
In addition there will be leaf print making, fossil-hunting and geocaching — a treasure hunting game with a technological twist.

“The event is aimed at getting families and children of all ages out exploring some of the Island’s fantastic countryside and coastal areas — and have a great time while doing it,” said Cllr Tim Hunter-Henderson, Isle of Wight Council cabinet member for Environment and Transport.
Car parking on the site will be limited, but an overflow field car park will be available, which is a ten minute walk away along the coastal footpath back towards Yarmouth.
